How many things have you accepted in your life as, “That’s just how it is”?
Maybe it’s a relationship that has been the same way for years. Maybe it’s your finances, your health, a closed door, or a situation that has gone on so long that you’ve stopped expecting anything to change
In this episode of The You Are More Podcast, I want to remind you that you are not powerless in the face of your circumstances. God has given you His Word, and your words matter.
The Bible tells us to speak to the mountain. Not just talk about it. Not bow to it. Not accept it as permanent. Speak to it.
I’m talking about the power of restoration and reconciliation, what happens when you stop getting familiar with defeat, and why one word from heaven can completely shift your perspective—even when your circumstances haven’t changed yet.
I share the picture God gave me while I was watching a drone rise above the exact same ground I was standing on. My feet hadn’t moved, but suddenly I could see everything differently. That’s what happens when you get in God’s presence and get His perspective. The Word of God gives you a 30,000-foot view of the mountain in front of you.
I also share the scripture that became my victory anthem during one of the hardest seasons of my life. In the natural, it looked like I was losing. But I kept speaking what God said until fear no longer got the final word.
Maybe today you need to speak restore over your own life. Maybe you need to speak it over someone you love who no longer has the strength to speak it for themselves.
Restore their hope.
Restore their strength.
Restore their vitality.
Restore their joy.
Get the Word on the situation. Say what God says. Speak life. Speak hope. Speak courage. Speak to the mountain.
You do not have to keep circling the same territory simply because it has been there a long time.
Take your rightful place. Open your mouth. Ask God to shift your perspective and give you the words for this season.
You carry great purpose, great destiny, and you truly are more.
